An ophthalmologist with glaucoma specialization, trained at LVPEI, Dr Ramyashri is adept with recent trends in glaucoma management and research skills. Capable of managing hospital activities, and mentoring students with 15+ years of experience in comprehensive eye and glaucoma care.
Her areas of Interest include all adult and pediatric glaucoma, secondary glaucoma like NVG, PXG, uveitic glaucoma, angle closure glaucoma, post keratoplasty glaucoma.
A dedicated Glaucoma specialist and Cataract surgeon, expert in management of complex glaucoma in adults with 10+ years of professional experience after long term fellowship in Glaucoma. Currently handling OPD and OR with refractory glaucoma's in both adults and pediatric cases with a special interest in post keratoplasty glaucoma.
Previously she has experience working at private setup in Bangalore for 5 years from 2010 - 2015. Was practicing glaucoma after the first fellowship in a private hospital at Bangalore for 4 years from 2012 - 2015.

- August 2010 - January 2011: Lecturer in Minto Ophthalmic Hospital, Bangalore
- March 2012 - December 2015: Consultant Ophthalmologist & Glaucoma Specialist at Modi Eye Hopsital, Bangalore set up the glaucoma department as a separate sub-speciality service in providing glaucoma outpatient and surgical services single handed.
- September 2014 - December 2015: Consultant Ophthalmologist & Glaucoma Specialist at People Tree Hospital, Bangalore instrumental in setting up entire ophthalmology set up with OPD, opticals, diagnostics and OR in a multi speciality hospital with 300 beds. Did several out-reach programmes & surgeries for the needy.
